Barjaco Group AB is a growing group with operations in the restaurant and service sectors. We operate several units and actively work on expansion, profitability development, and concept refinement.

We are now looking for an Operational Manager with overall responsibility for the group's restaurant operations, a business-driven leader.

About the role

This is a senior and business-critical role with overall responsibility for operations, finance, and development within the group's restaurant operations.

You have ultimate operational responsibility and work both strategically and hands-on. The role involves leading the business towards set goals, ensuring profitability, and driving development and expansion.

You report to the board/owners and have the mandate to make decisions regarding operations, organization, and development.

Responsibilities

Business responsibility

• Overall responsibility for results and budget
• Ensure profitability and growth
• Drive strategic planning and development
• Identify new business opportunities and expansion

Operational leadership

• Lead and develop restaurant managers and key personnel
• Ensure structure, routines, and quality levels
• Create a strong corporate culture and clear leadership
• Be responsible for staffing, recruitment, and organizational development

Operations & quality

• Ensure that the units deliver high service and guest experience
• Follow up on key performance indicators and implement improvement measures
• Be responsible for regulatory compliance, food safety, and work environment

Expansion & development

• Participate in the establishment of new units
• Drive improvement projects and efficiency
• Work closely with project management during renovations and new establishments

We are looking for someone who

• Has documented experience in a leading role with full responsibility for results
• Has worked as, for example, CEO, business area manager, operations manager, or district manager in restaurants, retail, or service
• Has strong financial understanding and experience working towards clear goals
• Is a confident, clear, and decisive leader
• Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment with a fast pace
• Has a valid driver's license and the ability to travel between units

You are business-driven, analytical, and structured but also operational enough to step into the business when needed.
